What's the problem with that? The whole point of a carputer is to keep track of the car's functions.

I'm glad that I run an older car as well, but I wish I could run with more hp, AND cleaner

I guess it is because I work in the service department at a VW dealership that this does not surprise me. But yeah that is not even CLOSE to all the stuff that scan tool can do.......not even close. Hell you can deploy the air bags if you wanted to....I have seen it done. Looks like all of the codes are intermittent. I am guessing the engine light was on. The other stuff you really don't have to worry about unless a waring light comes on. The car throws codes for comfort convenience systems every time it is turned on.

turns out the only thing wrong with it was a FMIC hose had popped off and b/c the dealership in Savannah is the WORST dealership on the planet they couldn't find it and said "there were too many mods" on the car for them to figure it out. Now the car is sitting at REVOtechnik in Atlanta getting a bigger turbo and more fuel. They are shooting for 400whp we shal see...

seeing as they are getting 300lb/ft out of a 2L 4cyl with nothing but a chip, thats pretty amazing to me. This car which up until now has been REVO stage2 still gets over 30mpg on the hiway to boot.

eh, turned out to be something aftermarket that now has been remedied by new clamps...
