Applying the brakes would have got me out of that situation. Would have applied load to the opposing wheel and transferred traction :D

Mid Ohio is a fun track. I just ran there on the 1st of Oct. Noticed you weren't using the chicane.

Hey man, so many people out there that never really drive their car. At least a sloppy autocross is out there doing it up :D
This is from yesterday at the Florida State Championship practice autocross. I was seeing speeds of 70mph towards the end and I was really not used having to look so far head (usually we autocross on a course a 1/4 of the size so our courses resemble ghymkana). Anyway had a lot of fun but was ultimately not competitive in SM due to the lack of race tires.

nice run. I think few folks from my region went down to that FL state champion round.
I've met a few JAX folks this year, a guy named Steve compete in DP class with a MR2 is pretty damn fast.
but yeah, in SM without slicks is a huge disadvantage.
So what's your camera setup?

So what's your camera setup?
Just a suction cup mount from FilmTools.com (like this one http://www.filmtools.com/gripsuccupca.html ) and a old Canon PowerShot SD550. I love this setup and have so many videos, both at autocross and on the street. We even attached a Canon GL1 (one of the huge 3ccd cameras) to the roof of an Audi TT and did a run up to 120mph and it held just fine.
I used to have a proper DV video camera but that was killed in action. http://www.goodlinesracing.com/DumpFolder/cam1.jpg, the camera was vibrated to death attached to a racecar.
I am personally not a fan of the StickyPod ( http://www.stickypod.com/ ), it is too big for my tastes. For an example, I wouldn't be able to use a StickyPod to get that inside the windshield shot.

And I did have my usual camera mount setup and was taping a run, but... the mount failed. No new videos from me anytime soon :(
