Today is the first day that I have been able to log onto these boards for the past four days or so. I have experienced this before, but this is one of the longest outages.
How many of you bought a 2009 Maxima since the boards last worked?

looks and feels like the yellow caution flags are up on the 2009 maxima.
As already stated i caved in to peer pressure and bought an Altima Hybrid.
Nice feel and I'm adjusting to my new home on wheels( clearly a loss in performance) As far as the max is concerned I get the sense that with the econmomy down, gas prices up the timing for this car is all wrong.

It's too powerful for me to handle right now. I'm waiting for Will from www.wrptechnology.net to come out with some parts that make it lose a little hp before I can actually drive it.
290 HP is too many you really can't get used to that?
Oddly enough, the brochure says the 290 is the "manufacturer's preliminary estimate" on the horsepower of the new variation of the VQ engine used in the 2009 Maximas.
Does anyone here understand the changes they made for the 2009 engine and if it's plausible those changes would actually increase the HP of the 2009 engine by 35? I do know from having driven both, there is a noticable increase in HP in the 2009.
