2009 Maxima Crash Test

Jeez! You'd think that Nissan would learn a few things about safety over the years. The Maxima has yet to get an all around "good" in everything including frontal & side crash tests. I hope the side crash test scores for the '09 Maxima are better than that of the previous generation. Oh well, I guess 5 "goods" in 6 categories for a frontal off-set crash isn't bad.

interesting. the 04 maxima had 6/6 "Goods" for rear passenger safety (side impact test) and driver safety (front offset test). driver safety for side impact test however, was moderate.

Even though the 09 got only 5/6 "goods" for driver safety (front offset test), i expect it to do quite a bit better for driver safety in a side impact collision
