the thing in the bottom of the pic. what is that? it was taken out of the car when i bought it and thrown in the back the car dosen;t even have a motor in it yet but just wondering what that is incase its broken. thanks!

That's the time control unit for the lighting system. If you've got a car in pieces, you'd do well to download the FSM for reference (it's available from various sources) If you already have one, there's a component location chart in the electrical section.;)
