I'm still trying to find a replacement carpet for my S13 that's left-hand drive but without the set-belt reel pockets in the rear floorboard. As far as I know, that combination was only available in Canada, France, and/or other left hand countries where the "Silvia" body style was sold(?) The S13 Convertible didn't have the pockets but it's floorpan is different and no one really makes replacement carpet for the convertible anyway.

That led me to investigating the differences in the floorpan of the S13 vs. the S14 with the idea of using an S14 replacement carpet, since the reel-pockets were the only initially obvious difference. Further study revealed that the S14 rear floorpan is almost 3" shorter (20.8") than the S13 (23.8") Comparison of drawings in the FAST program seem to confirm this. For those that have owned both, where did the 3" go when the S14 is actually a longer car than the S13?

On the carpet subject, as far as I can tell, all the replacement carpets available for the 240sx (other than OEM) come from the same factory in Dalton Georgia. There used to be two but ACC mats http://www.accmats.com/ bought ACS http://www.acsdorsettcarpet.com/in Anniston Alabama and they're only made in Dalton now.

Here's one better. I have S14 carpet in my S13.

The differences are found in 2 places. Like you said, the floor pan is shorter. Once the carpet is in the car, this shows up as a 1.5" gap between the carpet and chassis where it meets the rear seat. From what I've seen with people running S14 rear seats in S13 coupes, the S14 seat bottom is longer than the S13's. It looks like Nissan just moved that vertical floorpan feature forward a bit. I've got the carpet tucked under the S13 seat and you can't tell the difference unless you're looking for it.

The other difference is that the S14 kick panels are larger. Therefore the carpet has larger cutouts for them. With the stock kickpanels in place, you'll have about a 1x2" hole in the carpet in front of each kickpanel.

Everything else lines up great.
