After a few years of driving AWD I felt it was time to see what I could do with RWD, so I recently purchased this car from WA. Most of the work has been done, I'm currently going thru and sorting her out and doing some R&D making sure she will be able to deal (http://www.mnnissan.net/awd-turn-rwd-weekend-grip-track-car-t490.html#) with the demands of Road Coursing and drifting. I just made a few additions cosmetically and mechanically. So far the testing has been going pretty well, I still have a short TO DO list and I'm sure I'll find more as she slowly progress to the competitive performance level.

So far the aero parts have been working well, and in some cases too well, like the passenger side front bumper, its starting to tear, I now have a 3" tear which I'll have to fix, this is part of the reason I held back on installing a front splitter. The car pulls really nicely with the GT2871R.

I want to help promote and encourage more RWD Nissans (http://www.mnnissan.net/awd-turn-rwd-weekend-grip-track-car-t490.html#) to come out and do more Road Course (http://www.mnnissan.net/awd-turn-rwd-weekend-grip-track-car-t490.html#) events as they are stereotyped as Drift cars only, but in other parts of the world believe it or not they are very competitive in RR.

Enjoy the pictures and I do appreciate some feed back from other experienced Nissan enthusiasts on the thread I have posted.

I added those two holes to help cool the car down, I have a manuel fan switch but it wasn't doing enough.

Recently added the rear wing for down force to the rear, she feels alot more planted at high speeds.

Yeah, I gotta spend some time and smooth out and round out those two holes in the front of the bumper. I was in a hurry to get it done for the BIR event so zip zip and I was done. LOL

I have three sets of tires waiting for an opportunity. The problem now is deciding which one will go on first.

The following:

1 set of used Hankook RS-2 235/45-17

1 set of used Avon R compound F 245/40-17 R 275/40-17

1 set new Yokohama Advan 032R F 255/40-17 R 275/40-17
http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:eBd9U-Ya8IcS2M:http://images.ciao.com/iuk/images/products/normal/373/product-6556373.jpg (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://images.ciao.com/iuk/images/products/normal/373/product-6556373.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.ciao.co.uk/Yokohama_A032R__6556373&h=150&w=200&sz=5&hl=en&start=62&usg=__N6HuobiwP2WMolC9H0__9PVYOHk=&tbnid=eBd9U-Ya8IcS2M:&tbnh=78&tbnw=104&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dadvan%2B032r%26start%3D60%26gbv%3D2%2 6ndsp%3D20%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN)

I am thinking about running them in this order so I can get the suspension figured out.
