Would like to know what would be considered a good and appropriate aftermarket wheel for the I30 and if it were bigger than 17" how do you address the suspension issue.

have you seen the i30 else concept? it used enkei RSE's and it looked bad ass. i think that 17" should be a good size. sometimes when the wheels get either too big or too flashy, they jsut look gaudy (21" chrome neepers for example). what i'd want to do is get some 00 i30t 17" wheels. those are pretty sweet looking. the tenzo's (forgot model) look nice too. they look similar to the wheels on a bmw m5 and would provide the sporty and aggressive look on an i30 of any model year.

What is this car your referring to and could you provide a link.I saw a LS400 with these huge chrome wheels on it last night and I thought it looked goofy. My feeling is that you have to use discretion in the aftermarket wheels however forgoing convention does allow for some drop dead good looking cars/Thanks for the reply.Neil

Here is a SMALL pic of the ELSE I30:

I believe that there were a few ELSE concepts. Each displayed different focuses, i.e: luxury, sports, technology, etc. It's funny how most people forgot about them. Really, they are the first Infiniti concepts, not the XVL. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum//images/icons/grin.gif

i dont know of any i30 else related links on the web. there used to be some pics of one at a ********************** gathering, but im not sure if its still up. i know that it was featured in many car mags when the concepts were released. the one mag i know has a full feature article on it was the aug. '98 issue of sport compact car. if you got it, check it out. i only have a sheetfeed scanner at home, but i can try to get them scanned monday and ill post up some pics when i can.
