Maxima With SUPER PLASMA BLUES??

I recently ordered a 2001 Maxima SE "20th Anniversary Edition" http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif

N-E-Wayz ... I have a buddy going back to HK who is bringing me back 2 Sets of PIAA SUPER PLASMA BLUE's ... 1 Stock Wattage and the Other are OVERWATTAGE ... I want to know if anyone has TRIED the Overwattage ones and have they done Any Damage to their Harness or Wires!!!

I had Overwattage in my 99 Max and my Harness Got FRIED!!!! http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif But those were 9004!!!

You don't have to fly to Asia to get PIAA super plasma bulbs. Just go to autobulbdepot.com. I got a set of Super Plasma bulbs (They look just like HID not blue) for my Y2K Max. The package had virtually no english on it. The color of the bulbs are SAE certified, but there are no D.O.T. plasma/Xeon certified H4 bulbs.

Anyway the bulbs look so good that I have ordered a set for the fog lamps.

I would strongly advise against the high wattage bulbs as they will fry your wiring, and melt your lenses.

Empz, what have you been told about when you can expect delivery on your anniversary edition. I had put in an order back in May for a 2001 SE and was told it should arrive between mid august and mid september.
As an added bonus, my dealer recently told me that all 2001 SE's in Canada (and he provided me with the dealer matrix sheet from Nissan that confirms it) will be the anniversary edition.

I'm just Wondering ... WHAT Color Did U get??? I got ICELANDIC PEARL WHITE (which I think is the BEST looking Color) Plus I'm getting White in Memory of my Now DECEASED 99 Max SE!!!!!!

Oh yeah ... there are only 15 WHITE SE's in the ENTIRE CANADA! hehe

Empz, I will be getting black/frost. I like the way the smoked tail light surrounds blends in with the black. I agree that white is very sharp but I was concerned about tar etc really standing out.
I was originally planning to get a 2000 back in May, but in doing a lease it was actually cheaper to wait for a 2001 due to the falling residuals on the 2000's late in the model year.
This will be my fourth Nissan (92 NX2000, 95 Altima, 98 Pathfinder).
Were you aware that all SE's in Canada are to be the Anniversary Editions?
Also, do you have any pring info yet?
