New Maxima Owner

Hi,
I purchased a 2k Maxima SE the other day and found this web-board by chance. I really haven't had the time to drive the car too much yet. But just from my initial impressions, it seems great.

This happens to be my first Nissan. Before this, I drove a 2000 Accord V6 that I gave to my dad. In terms of engine refinement and overall power, the two cars are quite similar. But the Maxima is definitely a bit nicer in many ways. I guess the reason I got a Maxima is because it has so many nice features and it can be had for around $25k. I had to settle for an automatic because I couldn't find a 5-speed SE with the right options. I guess that is OK though, given the stop-and-go traffic here. hey, congrats on the new purchase! i have a 2k gxe and i love the car. wouldve loved to have a se, but hey, that would be an extra 3k for stuff im gonna swap out later anyways.
