Problems Need advice and info

Hello,

I been recently having this weird problem. The car runs fine most of the time but once in a while the car losses all its power and falls flat on its face. It kinda acts like a maf unpluged/injector but it still revs past 4k with no power and then falls and the motor shuts off. I then try to restart the motor but with no luck. I then pull the full pump fuse and start the motor to burn excess fuel and it cranks up until the fuel in the cylinders is out, replug the fuel pump fuse and it works fine again.

And another time i had a problem like running on 3 cylinders but then it goes away after trying to drive it and after runs normal, this happend in the rain.



Anybody experienced this problem before? Any ideas what it could be?

What condition r your plugs/wires/cap/rotor in? Sounds like an ignition problem.

I have a SR. I checked all the coils they all fire, the car runs normal most of the time but sometimes it acts up. I wonder if it is a sign of a bad ignitor chip. I added new plugs the first time it happend with ngk bkr7e i think dont remeber on top of my head.
