New Steve Eastwood Z car drawing

Steve was kind enough to share the drawing below with the FreshAlloy.com community....

He writes...
"Here's something that might be of some interest to you and your readers...I
did this rendering back in early May, prior to the version that appears in the August 2000 Road & Track.

Of course this one is 110% speculation, but being a practicing car designer, I just could not resist coming up with what MY ideal Z car would looklike. This one has a lot of the S30 design heritage to it, along with some then-trendy quad lamp setup in the front.

Note how I kept the same view, proportion and color for both versionsof the vehicle! (I was pressed for time, so I kept things simple for the second,R&T version)"

Sheesh Steve thats a really really really good drawing. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif I almost wish I could jump in and drive off. Those 2 side air intakes would be cool on the production model.

I love it! I had to say it again! But for some reason it looks cartoonish-like. Does anybody think that too? I still love it though!

Does anyone else think Steve should be working on future Nissan and Infiniti products?

That looks awesome. I especially love the front side air dams, they give it a lot of character.

With all these sketches out there, I have no idea what the actual car is going to look like. So I'm just appreciating the sketches for what they are: Pure speculation. But great sketch regardless Steve.

Geez!!! If the front looks like this and back looks like that Japanese rendering then not only will I get 2, shucks...I'll get one for the kids too!
