The Z started as a basic sports car, very gritty and all. Slowly it turned into a luxury tourer, which is Sport + comfort.
The underpowered Silvia held the rank of sports car while the Z was the tourer in the 90's

Now that the Slivia is gone from NA lineup, should the Z be a sports car or a touring car or a mix of both, if both how much of each aspect do you expect and at what price?

I think the Z should have at least some touring aspect...

In the same facet, we all know how smooth the VQ is. Would u like it as smooth or louder ala sports car?

Ever heard of the comfortable sports car?? It can be done, in fact in modern times, a sports car needs to be a comfy cruiser to be competitive. Example: C5 Corvette, 911 Turbo....

Follow Mazda's example; they used to have R1 and R2 trim levels for the last generation RX-7. One was for pure performance, the other was for touring.

The Z will be all sports. Why have it any other way. To buy an automatic for this car would be insane.

If you want a touring coupe pick up an old Lexus SC400.
