OK,
Now we have gone to VQ is the **** and the RB is an antiquated piece of machinery.
I am not flaming here by any means, but I would like to know somethings.
How many of you (that are responding to my posts) have had a turbo car?
How many have had an RB26? Or 25 for that matter?
How many have had a VQ motored car?
DAC man, we have gone from affordable, to a mid engined V6. Have you driven an mid engined car to really know how "balanced"they are??
Turbos are laggy, but what do you want, you can have a compact .46 ar turbo on a 3 liter and have no top end, or have a .86 ar exh housing and a 60 series compressor on a 2 liter and have plenty of hp, albiet top end.
The bottom line is this, I take offence if somebody talks about my pride and joy, which happens to be my car. If you have experience with what you are talking about, fine. But I thought the Z car was a back to basic, if we are pipe dreaming, and ALL of us can afford a 80000 dollar car, then fine, mid engine V6, twin turbo, awd this 4 ws that....we totally lost the point.
BTW, any turbo car can be a monster, and still be daily drivable with a turbo. I partcually like lag, hits harder, and easier to drive in my book, as long as the car has 8.5:1 compression or greater.
Also, a T78 isn't so bad as the exh housing can be ordered in many different configurations....
