What other turbo kits are available for the 91-93 SR20DE? I heard there is an F-max kit for it. I've also seen one by Pacific Performance (I think), and I know there is one by Redline Pro. Are there any comparisons on these. I was also worried about passing emissions in California. Thanks in advance.

JWT will have a kit out for the G20 by the end of the year, then will make a kit for other SR20 cars.
HotShot Performance has a turbo kit for all the SR20 cars, with diff turbo combinations and diff options to choose from
Redline Proformance makes a nice kit at a VERY competative price
Fmax makes the best turbo kit IHMO, its a bit pricey but is the horsepower king.
XS Engenerring makes a kit also, although I don't know any details on it.
U can also put togheter ur own kit just make sure U ask the vendors about EGR fittings and if U have a newer SE-R if all the O2 Sensor provisions are there. 98-99 SR20 owners are left in the dark here, as the evap emissions equipment will no longer work properly, JWT does not make a ECU for em YET.

The latest issue of Sport Compact says that JWT has a CARB legal turbo kit out for the SR20, is this for all SR20's or just the 94 and up SR20's? Also is there any info on power output figures and prices? TIA.

It will be CARB legal, out in winter of 2000 for the 99-00 G20 only. They will make other kits as soon as the G20 one is done. It will make 200HP at the crank with no intercooler, the G20 put down 178HP at the wheels. No cost yet. But since it has no intercooler and uses stock injectors it should be pretty cheap. Less than 2500 bux.

What should I get checked on my engine before I run turbo, like to make sure that my engine will definitely be able to handle it? Also what would be the Max boost I could run with the F-max on the street?
Okay, yeah, yeah, stupid questions I know...hehehe...TIA
