I just read a post on the SE-R mailing list that Ben B ran a 10.5 yesterday at Firebird Raceway and still has room to turn up the boost. He also has qualified in the number 8 spot for the quick 16. Keep up the good work Ben. Show all them Honduh guys what Nissan is made of! =)

The SE-Rs are going very fast very quickly. Ben is in the position to put heat on Jamie Farrer's 10.34 at Englishtown a couple of weeks ago.

B14 SE-R vs. B13 SE-R. West coast vs. East coast. Who's going to the first SE-R in the 9's?

Actually I think it might be Ben B to be the first to dip into the 9's. Mike K said he had room to turn up the boost about 5-6 more psi. He just posted a 10.34 yesterday which ties with Jamie Ferrar and that was on a slipping clutch. But I'd more than love to see them both hitting 9's and whooping on some serious Honduh @$$. I just wish there were more of us out there doing what they're doing. If I had the cash I'd do it too but since I don't I guess I can't.

I think so, too. Once Ben B.'s car gets sorted, it sounds like it will run 9's fairly regularly. Maybe that will help muscle the fast SE-R's into some magazines.

I am somewhat biased towards Jamie's car, though. It's a red classic just like mine. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif

Yeah I like Jamie's car too cuz we all know that the classics are the *real* SE-R's =) I'm currently involved in an abusive relationship with one... I love my classic but I beat the $hit out of it everyday. =) But anyways back to the topic... Ben B does have an advantage right now since he has the 72lb/hr JWT setup and I think Jamie's waiting on it still. But it looks pretty promising that both will be deep in the 9's by the end of the season.
