My friend bought a Civic Si-R a few weeks ago. Now that it's broken in, I took it out for a spin expecting this thing to pull like mad (based on all of the reviews which I've seen). While she did pull nicely, it felt rather "civil" to me. Below 6000 RPM she felt like nothing, 6000-8000 felt nice, but I wasn't blown away. I thought that the extra 20 ponies would make a (bigger) difference. Now I know my car is no rocket, but I think my 99 SE feels quicker, and has more "umph" when you step on the gas. Does anyone know what the actual 0-100Km/h times are for the two cars?

It may seem as an illusion to you, but the Civic is actually much quicker than the Sentra SE....by 1/2 a second.

Civic SI 7.2 Secs, Road & Track
Sentra SE 7.9 secs

According to Sport Compact Car:
both Si and 2000 Sentra SE have the same quarter mile time

Word up...the sr20de has more torque, and torque be what you straight feelin yo. My SE-R can straight clown on some six and even eight cylinder rides, but if you were in the other cars you'd swear they were faster cause you can feel the tourqe, right? So even if numbers are numbers torquey cars feel faster. Word?
