Nice! Perhaps we'll see this in the states as an NSX-crushing Infiniti?

If you guys want to take a peak at the 2003 NIssan Skyline R35 GT-R, go to this website. www.Ultimatecarpage.com (http://www.Ultimatecarpage.com) and go to cars by brand and then select nissan and finally select 2003 R35 Skyline. It is scary!!!!! Never have I seen such an awesome machine!!! Incredible.... if I only had 90,000 grand!!!!! http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif

Here's a better computer-generated image of the new R35 GT-R:

I hope they keep the Inline-6 instead of moving to a version of the VQ.

This pic has been around for awhile now, it's old news now. I just wish they would actually make it, and not tease us with concepts. I guess we all will have to wait and see what happens.

Well i`m happy with a Twin Turbo 3.5 V8 http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif
I just couldn't hold back from posting. If the GT-R looks like that photoshopped pic up there I will be VERY DISSAPOINTED at Nissan. I know this is old news but the way you guys drool over that lame excuse for a fake super car just makes me sick!
Do you guys under stand that the GT-R is a super car it suppose to compete against the Ferrari's the Lambos etc, If Nissan produced the GT-R it looking like that it would be a JOKE. Whats the difference besides this and the current one besides it being more rounded and looking like an Accord Coupe. Can you imagine a A supercar looking like an Accord Coupe!
I'm hoping for this car to be a Concept brought to life. If this thing is really going to be shown at the TMS then expect the GT-R to be heavily based of it. Since Nissan isn't wasting money the concepts we have been seeing for the past 2 years have production models heavily based off of them.
PLEASE Nissan make this the most exotic looking car you've ever made! Curve the sheet metal into shapes never seen before. Give it a stance of an Radical super Car.

He's got a point! http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif
The car can be still an OGRE but just make it an orginal OGRE that strikes terror in to the heart of the Ferraris or NSXs or Lambos.

This car is killer..it bares no resemblance anything honda or anyone else has. Although a slight redesign of the current R34 wouldn't be bad..like make it lower and a lil flatter.

I still say that digitally designed car above looks like a pile of sh!t. It certainly isn't a worthy successor to the R32, 33, or 34 GT-Rs.
Finally someone with common sense.

I'm saying it doesn't have to be a fancy looking supercar, it can still be a beast like the R34. get it?

The R34 is more ugly then beast. Being exotic doesn't mean looking fancy.

Actually there is a pic of the new GTR in the latest issue of Road and track, and unfortunately, it does not look like that internet pic at all. Of course if you saw the G35 article in Car and Driver, you might have figured that out already.

The pic you are reffering to in R&T is a computer generated pic by Best Car, totally unaffiliated with Nissan (it even says it right under the pic in the magazine, along with the pic of the NSX). That pic has been around the block already before. The statements that Nissan has made about the styling of the next gen. GT-R contradict that pic anyway. As they say the next gen GT-R will move away from the Skyline sedan styling. We'll have to wait and see.

Cool, I hope Im wrong as well as I prefer the picture posted above anyways. Altho it seems weird to me that Nissan would be willing to create 2 ver different versions of One car whrn they are on the road to recovery.
To be honest, I wont be surprised if the GTR does make it over here, as I think the new heads at Nissan will make more platforms global (from econoboxes to sports cars), in an effort to maximize profits from each one (ala ford and VW).

Here's the latest photoshop rendition of the R35.
http://phaice.com/db1/00073/phaice.com/_uimages/gtr.jpg
Personally, I think it looks somewhat like what the R35 should look like, but the front grill looks bad and is probably going to be different.. Also there is no shot of the rear lights. All I can say is hopefully they'll retain the quad round tails. Everyone needs to take these pics with a grain of salt though-- they could be very accurate, or the car could look nothing like it.

The Skyline and the GT-R are 2 seperate cars now, so that pic and caption is a little off.

I agree, but there is still no SOLID evidence in either case. Any talk about this subject now is just pure speculation. Let's just hope that person who started this thread is correct. That Nissan will showcase a concept model of the R35 GT-R at the Tokyo show in 2 months.
