Take a look at this pic of the climate control module in the 2002 Maxima:

Do you guys think the new Altima will use the same module? Or better yet, has anyone got a look at the real thing in one of these test cars that are floating around?

I don't think it'll come with auto climate control unfortunatley. But remember, even though this car offers a hell of a lot, it's Nissan's entry level fullsize family mover.

According to this spec sheet...
http://www.nissannews.com/nissan/product/vehicles/altima/spec.html
it will come with auto climate control as part of the "leather package" option.
I checked the Maxima spec sheet to compare, and they both use the exact same wording: "Automatic Temperature Control"
So unless the spec sheet is wrong, it will be available on the new Altima. I'm just wondering how it will look, what features it will offer, and if anyone has actually seen it.

By the look of the dash, I have a feeling it wont be a digital read-out and buttons like the Max. It may have rotary dails like the '96 Pathfinders auto climate control.

No doubt. . .unless they change the stereo display to show temp settings when it is adjusted. . .
