Don't know how many of the rest of you registered on Nissan's web site for more info on the '02 Altima, but I did... ..and I received their first mailing this morning...
A very glossy, multi-paged little booklet officially announcing the arrival of the Altima this Fall. Am looking forward to getting more info from them in the coming weeks/months...

What did the little booklet include, did it have pictures and color combs; could you scan it and put it on this website? I also sign up for more info on the new Altima, right when it debuted at the NY Auto show, I hope I get it soon. It usually takes Nissan awhile to reach me in my area.

For those of you that went to the NY Auto Shot to see the debut, it's the same teaser pics, but the outside packaging is different to better accomodate the US Mail service.

There was nothing special about this little brochure. There weren't any pictures or features that can't be found on the net (either www.nissandriven.com (http://www.nissandriven.com) or www.nissannews.com (http://www.nissannews.com) or here on Freshalloy.com). I was pretty disappointed with it. I am waiting for the official 2002 Altima brochure with full color, enticing pictures (especially of the 3 interior "environments") and descriptions of features and technologies.

Those of you that went to the NY Auto show to see the debut got the same teaser. The outside packaging is alittle different on the mailing to be more accommodating for the US Mail Service.
Well I got mine in the mail, but I didn't see any at the NY Auto Show.

I went to my local dealer this weekend and they're getting them in september, however they will have a live in person 2002 at the parade of homes to view in the first week of August. I'll be there to check it out. I'll bring my camera and shoot some live footage. Then post it for the guys on this site. Look for it in August. Have fun guys.
Sincerely,

Hello Doug ... Aren't you from Lakewood?! HA ha. Caught you "SuperDman". http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/wink.gif Anyway, the new Altima is impressive. Have to see how much it costs. Perhaps I'd consider the V6 with the 5-speed instead of the GTP. Relability is not that big an issue for me since I will not own a vehicle longer than 2 years.
