Rumor has it you will be able to tune your radio, set you HVAC, make a phone call, and set your navi system, all with voice activation. Further rumored to be STANDARD equipment. What do you think?

Mine tells me 4 things:
Fuel level is low;
Lights are on;
Right/Left door is open;
Parking brake is on.

They stopped doing that because the time has changed, and this system adds complexity, cost, and point of failure.

hmmmmmmmm.....voice activation a chatty car just what we need.However the truth be known expect to see an announcement regarding bluetooth applications and quite likely motorola.Also are we all watching the 3com site for the wap applications beginning to surface.Lets for example say you beam an address from your palm to your radio and have the audio play through the sound system and you could store any map info as a beam back to pilot from your radio.
Oh did I mention the palm will recognize your voice...but you already knew that was about to occur now didn't you....
