'90 Q45 Diagnostic

Anybody able to help with identifying the meaning of "Transmission Malfunction" on my Diagnostic screen, also my speedo is'nt working.......are these 2 things connected.....and will it affect my transmission.....?

Maybe one of theres a loose wire or something. Like I think there should be a wire that goes from the tranny that relays mph or something. So thats probably why your speedo isn't working and you're getting a tranny light, unless your tranny is acting really crappy too but otherwise. I dunno though... just trying to put two and two together.
