If I remember correctly... Nissan was to build 3 models off of the XVL platform...

1. XVL sedan
2. new Z
3. Skyline

and remember Carlos Ghosn said that they are working on the new Skyline which we would see in the US market...

I know that too but Autonews.com said that the Infiniti Skyline was killed as a product plan. So I dont really know whats gonna happen now. Hopefully autonews.com is wrong.

Do you mean this:

That "medium-size sedan" is the new Altima.

As for the other link, there's nothing really new there except for them calling the XVL-based sedan the "GS." Just add that to the list of G35, J35, X30, blah blah. I think most of us believe that an Infiniti coupe is probably on the way.

I know calling it the Infiniti GS is nothing knew, but I wonder if Ghosen, at the breakfast confrence at NY, or Orbe, at unvieling of Q, said that an XVL coupe is coming. No one else said anything about an XVL coupe and this was new for me. Hopefully its not speculation by them and its fact. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/cool.gif
