See, in that picture, the car had the general and i mean vaguely general shape of teh Audi A6 minus the front headlamps

I think this angle is yet another "good" angle

but none of us can judge the car accurately without seeing it in person, pictures do NO car justice...

I genuinely love the exterior of the car. Its not my Nissan goggles on...I like it a lot! I think it looks great here. I someone can tell me how to post apic, they are already jpgs, then all post them. And they are not the ones in the "All my 2002 Q45 pics".

And to tadd to that I saw it in person and it is gorgeous. I live like 30min away from NY so I go every year to the NY auto show. Thats what REALLY made me love the cr because it is gorgeous in person.

hey you know on the I30T they give the headlights a "smoked" treatment? are they going to do that on the new Q45?

Well, right now no one can confirm a Q45t anyway. I asked the lady at the NY Auto Show that was the person in charge of answering questions on the cars if there will be a t version and she said she didnt know. But FA has heard that a 400hp+ Q45 with an extended wheelbase is possible for the t version. So lets all pray that the t will make it as we have been told.

This is actually one of the ugly front-view pics I mentioned. I don't like it.

I have t disagree. I think this one of best views of the car because it shows performance notice the way the front looks lowered and the way it has an aggressive stance. I also like the way it looks beefy because it is a big sedan but it has the performance to beat its competitors.

Beefy isnt the best chice of words in my mind. Although you could say so I see it as muscular. To me it looks like a standing bicep off of Mike Tyson or something. Thats the way I see it. The high doorline and theose tall doors really accent the aggresivness of the car.

Not to be offensive but u could think of the word the way u want to , but beefy was the only word I could think of at the time. To me that just means it can handle it's own but Muscular is a nice definition too.

I understood exactly what you meant by it. I just thought others might not.

I agree, the car looks agressive, however, in a weird sense. I guess it's another car from Nissan that people will say: "the styling starts to grow on me"

That car to me looks like a larger version of the US Maxima, with cues off the XVL, I hope the new Cima doesn't look like that.

People, please...Stop looking at the new Q and saying "looks like an Audi, Sonatan, Hyundai, Merc...etc..). True some cars may borrow design cues from others. Designs also can come and go as a trend. Remember how most car are very rounded and bubbly? The designs in the late 90's have been edged, boxy designs (witness the change of the LS400 from the first release to now). Now, it seems like edge design combined with roundness is in style (Merc S class, Audi, BMW..)

Anyway, with so many cars these days and with aerodynamic shapes and all, yes some cars may look like other cars. But I seriuosly doubt that Infiniti wanted the new Q to have an A6 "hint" to its desgin. It just happened to look that way.

After seing all these angles, i find that the new Q is a very nice car, i still don't know if the design is fit for a "flagship car"

but anyways, i think the Q looks better in darker colors (like that bronzeish one in the picture due to lighting)

the lighting makes the car look better, but that front end needs to be refined. the arabian said it best, it's not fit for a flagship. i say just a little bit softer on the front end.

you know, is this front end really making it to production?

No, dontchange a thing its perfect the way it is. They said the same thing about the S-Class remember. I love it. At any rate if they soften the disign it wont be fit for its 340hp engin.
