Nearly doubling January's sales numbers, and breezing by Feb. sales in March, can Infiniti obtain at least 25,000 units this quarter? Right now, they are just south of 19,000 units (as of March 31). If they keep up this momentum, with the new G35 and newer products on the horizon for this fall, can they break the 100,000 sales number for 2002? My vote is YES!

I certainly hope so. If they don't get it by the end of 2002, I think they will by the 1 year anniversary of the G35 being on sale.

With more new products on the way, Infiniti will soon break 100K mark.

You have to give time for the general public to react to new models. Not everyone is on internet forums discussing cars like us. Majority of the public doesn't even read car magazines like C&D, R&T, etc. So it takes a lot more time for the general public to react to new models than what we are accustomed to here on the forums. We the enthusiasts are the minority.
So, I agree with the 2003 prediction. Give it a year for all the new models to debut, get great reviews, and trickle down to the average buyer.

2003 will be the year of Infiniti. 2002 started off bad, maybe they can pull it off strong. They'll be damn clode though, at least 90,000 this year. If FX45 sells even half as well as the RX300, thats a helluva lot.
