The Radisson 200 has just finished and we have another victory to report. Eddie Cheever has won the race after leading 39 laps of the race. This is Infiniti's first number one finish since the IRL began.

Other Infiniti driver, Robbie Buhl's car suffered a blown engine early in the race. A day of celebration and some heartbreak for Infiniti/Nissan Motorsports. More on the race later today.

It was a nice victory for Cheever and Infiniti. I really think if it weren't for the money already invested in their Oldsmobile engines, many teams would have switched over to Infiniti some time ago.

Do Nissan geeks really care about the IRL? How about F1 or European rallying?

In the meantime, it's nice to finally see a win for Infiniti. After all, success breeds success, or so the saying goes.
