how to remove gum?

Some morons stick a gum on my hood and I wanna get rid of it fast!

I removed most of it by simply pulling it away, but still, there is some sticking on the metal, and I don't wanna damage the paint! Please advise if there is any good solution?

just spray let it sit for like 3 secs and rub away
