Forgive me if this has been posted here already. I found this pic of the new Integra on the Scoop! website. I'd like to see it on the road, but it doesn't do much for me now. I see some Oldsmobile in the headlights - almost like an Oldsmobile cross-bred with an S2000 and the Honda Prius. The front end looks like it's wearing some sort of mask - very nondescript. Your opinions?

The busy site is totally a fake. All the images are computer derived images. Not the real ones.
i dont believe that scoop! itself is tryign to post false information. they get their pictures from bestcar magazine. some of the concepts they have are pretty accurate. take their pic of the "Nissan FR Sedan."

it looks very similar to the nissan xvl concept images posted on nissan of japan's website. though i dont find them to be accurate all the time, its still a fun site to visit.

I don't know about the origen of that photo, but Nissan needs to build that car and offer it in the US! That's a good looker and will sell. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif

This photo looks a little like XVL -- especially the headights. In regard to the Acura, I heard a rumor that they were killing the Integra. Anyone else hear this? (I don't know why Honda would -- that car seems to make up a lot of Acura's sales.)

ive heard that rumor too, but the latest ive heard is that they're gonna redesign the integ for 2001 with a 2.0 litre engine and no sedan variant.

What I've heard is that they will basically combine the Integra and Prelude. There will be only one car to sell to both camps. The Prelude has always been Honda's little sporty coupe. The Integra has pretty much come up to Prelude territory.
With the presence of the Acura line, I think it seems fitting that Honda just sell family and commuter oriented cars. Acura can dish out the pricier luxury and sports cars. I'm just so surprised that the S2000 was released as a Honda and not an Acura. Appearently I'm not alone, as some automotive magazines had speculated that the S2000 would be release as an Acura.

Two things.
1 - The pic at the top is a major fake. Notice no hood line.
2 - The Integra will be dropped after MY2000 or 2001. The Prelude will be droppend after MY2001. This is official stuff from Autoweek that a Honda VP told them.
