I just went through this months new issues of Motor Trend, Car & Driver, and Road & Track and found in each magazine a small story on the Caddy Seville named the STSi. I think it is supposed to be some kind of pace car for Le Mans, and boy was I IMPRESSED!! After reading the articles there all I could think of was why cant Nissan try and make something like this? It just looks cool! Finally somebody American is making something worth looking at. Why cant Infiniti's look this good?

There are but I dont remember how to post pictures... Well, here goes...

javascript:MM_openBrWindow('motor_galpop_05.htm',' gallery','width=550,height=385,resizable=no');

if that doesnt work go to http://www.cadillac.com/news/index.htm and click on the link on the left side of the screen that takes you to the motorsports section, after the intro movie plays click on the link that says: "Cadillac racing" there should be a link on that page that will bring up a seperate screen with a photo.

Off the top of my head, the lines of the STS are reminiscent of large nissan cars in japan, IE Cedric/Gloria. They all look very good (including the STS).

I agree. I also see a little Cima in the Caddy. Nissan Japan sedans seem to be better suited for North America. And given the funky nature of the Maxima, it might actually cause quite a stir in Tokyo. Cadillac's Seville has been a nicely styled car since the original statement they made back in '92. The Eldo is also nice looking. Caddy has several problems in my opinion.
1) GM-1970's-cheesey interior materials.
2) Sub-par (read: not up to asian standard fit-and-finish
3) Awful brand image. "The power of & ???!"
What?
