I wonder if the folks at Mercedes realize that they are now part of the company responsible for cars like the Fury, Volare, and the K-cars. And people tell me that my car is nothing more than a Nissan.....
Oh yeah, your new S500 is nothing more than an Intrepid! (I know it's not) I want to see an AMG E55 with a huge "MOPAR" sticker on the windsheild.
Just a thought.

Aren't the Chrysler Java and Mercedes A-class riding on the same platform?
I guess the partnership has already begun...I'll be waiting for the Dodge Stratus/Mercedes E-class platform to come out soon... http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/grin.gif

We are now probably the best time to buy DaimlerChrysler stocks.

Seems like Chrysler at least has shot it's load. It's been quite a run -- Ram Pickup, Prowler, Viper, PT Cruiser, 300M. Apart from the Jeep Varsity and the gorgeous Hemi convertible, I don't see a whole lot coming from the Chrysler side of DC. If anything, it seems like the Germans are squashing the creative spark that was burning all through the 90's in Auburn Hills.
