My head is still spinning from reading what GM is trying to do with all their divisions over the next two years. If you have half a day, go over to auto.com and check it out. GM still won't shutter losers like Olds and Buick -- instead they're getting all kinds of new crap built off the same platforms. Saturn will eventually get an suv and pickup. The Chevy SSR RoadsterTruck got the approval nod. Check it out and vent.

now even Saturn is getting a pickup? this whole pickup craze is getting out of hand. The Lincoln Blackwood is probably the most absurd. Honda wants a big truck too. Seems like everyone is gonna have a truck soon. hopefully Nissan will make their fullsize stand out somehow. i think the Frontier already stands out against its respective competition

Your right about all of that. It's going to be very interesting, better yet Hilarious to see Honda make a truck. I just hope it's not built off the Oddessey platform. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/shocked.gif

I recently read an article in the new Car and Driver (or Road and Track) in which they evaluated the new 01 Frontier. Although I'm not a big fan of the new styling I can say it's at least good to see Nissan trying. It just seems to me Nissan is skimping on a few things. It's the details that go a long way towards improving image, and I think Nissan is skimping on a couple. First of all, they mentioned something about the rivets used to hold the fender flares in place were fake, and that the ride height across the entire line was reduced, even on the 4x4s!! Come on, if you're going to put those rivet holes in there, might as well make them real!! Furthermore, you dont reduce the ride height on a 4x4. I dont hear anybody complaining about the ride height on Toyota's 4x4s, and they're the best selling import pickup to date!! I just think Nissan's got it backwards, reducing the ride height on a 4x4, makes me want to scream!!!
