Wow, I like it. The Miata needed to go in a new direction with it's style. The original retro look was great and I love the current car, but there are alot of similar cars now and this new style is great.
I like the idea of a rotary engine. Anything to make Mazda unique is a good thing. Now if they would only replace their corporate symbol with something in the shape of a rotary engine rotor...

The only danger with this new style is the appearance that the car has gained weight...Mazda, make sure this car goes on a diet!

i like the current design better myself, even if it is a little boring. this design looks good except for the front end, which makes me think Saturn. i don't really like the idea of suicide doors, but rotary should be interesting (and brings mazda back to its roots)

I like the overall appearance from the link photo. Looks like it is evolving. I just think the front end details need changed/cleaned up a bit. I agree the front end details remind me of Saturn.
Suicide doors? Please be wrong. Roadsters do not need this (I am assuming it has a 3rd or 4 doors). Putting these little useless doors just compromises body integrity. If you need utility, do not be shopping for roadster type car! I feel the Miata needs to stick to it's roots.
Overall, Mazda seems to be on a roll.... http://66.96.198.147/forum/images/icons/smile.gif

If only they keep it light and fun. The current one is creeping up in curb weight.
