You know, I never thought Toyota could get more bland than they already are. Oh, I like the shape of that clock on the inside, does it remind any of you of the Q45?

That car looks like something other than a Toyota, maybe a bit more upscale than the regular Toyotas we have here in NA. The front of it looks rather odd, but I can kind of see this as a Lexus product to compete with something like a G20, but with a revised grill.

in the front end i can kinda see a resemblance to the avalon, the new one

Are you serious? The clock doesn't give you the slightest hint of Infiniti?

The only difference is that the one in Brevis is digital.

It looks very much like the one in the New Q prototype.

redline of 6000, speedo goes to 180 km/h only

this car seems like the next Avalon to me
or something similar

The back looks like the previous Q. But there is also a hint of the avalon as well. I dunno..

To me this looks like a LS430 with new front and rear clips. The doors, a, b and c pillar look exactly like our LS430.

Frankly I like the car. Conservative styling is easier for me to appreciate than over done, racey, riced up looks.

I think this car looks fine. Interior looks a little rushed in design and not up to Lexus/Toyota standards however...

I think this looks like a GS300/430 with a slight face lift. Maybe this is the next iteration of the car. I also like their choice of wood on the dash, more Infiniti envy???

It isn't the new Avalon; if it were, it would be badged Pronard as the Avalon is. But I agree, it's not so unlike the Pronard/Avalon. From the article I read (I think it was on Auto ASCII), it's meant to compete with the C-class and the 3-series (doesn't look that way to me, so I had better reread that). It looks a lot like the Lexus LS with the interior color arrangement shown here.

This car looks just like Lexus LS430 from side. Is this Japanese sibling of Lexus ? I think this one looks better than the one we have. But still ugly and boxy. They need to hire ex-Audi designers to make it look good.

G20? What???????? no. To me, this car looks like an LS430 with an uglier rear,a more stylish interior (not sure which I like better) and a better rear. Bland, yes, but classy, yes. I like the wheels. http://66.96.198.147/forum/images/icons/smile.gif

Look at it carefully, it's a facelifted Toyota Altezza. Most likely, it's for one of Toyota's more conservative sales channels (probably alongside the Celsior, as someone previously mentioned the similarity to the LS430).

By the way, the new Avalon/Pronard's not due for another year or two.

looks way too small to be of LS430 type.
Either GS or IS range, but hard to tell.
Butt ugly IMO.

Without specs I wouldn't even try to guess the length of this car, but isn't simply a luxury version of the new Corolla?

its built off the altezza platform, but slightly longer. it is designed to compete with 3series/c-class/a4 in japan as the altezza doesn't seem to be doing the job. the car actually has quite a bit of fancy tech in it like voice recognition.
