That's strange. I drive a titanium/graphite 2001 I30t (tinted) and whenever I see another Infiniti, be it an G20, I30, I35, Q45, or (and this is still rare), G35, I am usually happy to see a compatriot. If I do make eye contact with the driver, I give the "nice car" nod.

I like the I35, but that doesn't mean I like my I30t any less. Heck, some things about the I30t are, in my opinion, superior to the I35, such as the beautiful 5-spoke 17" wheels, the tinted headlights, the arrangement of the speedometer and odometer, and the original white electro-luminescent dash.

I have a 2k Max and a G35 and have too much respect for the Nissan/Infiniti marque to even consider racing another Nissan/Infiniti driver and make them look bad.

Disrespecting a fellow Nissan/Infiniti driver on public street should be frowned upon, unless he was a total jerk, then let him have it images/icons/grin.gif

No, I love all car enthusiests. I have been to a few Maxima meets. At our ClubLexus meets, we invite all car owners.

The kid needs to shuddup that is all. If u noticed, I never have posted my Altima/Maxima/Infiniti kills here. All it will do is get flames.

Oh, the Lexus I drive most often is a 1998 GS 400 L-tuned. Not the fastest car in the world, but i am happy. images/icons/cool.gif

And anyway, the point of my post was just to show how people who don't know anything about cars do funny things...When I saw the look on his face, I figured he thought he was the butt of some sick joke...why didn't my car come witht the extra 5?...

And anyway, not to sound biased or anything, but I'm a little sick of all the non-Nissan people coming here to bash. Ever since the new G came out there's been nothing but insecure bashing going on at other boards. It's sickening. People here at Freshalloy.com are some of the most unbiased, intelligent, coherent people I've ever come across, save a few. And this is not to say Nissan owners are the ONLY ones capable of having good car discussions....RSXDriver, Shaman, Cheshire_Matt and many others at caranddriver.com have proven this. But the truth still remains. People are unhappy with their purchases, and they're coming down on us. It's not Nissan's fault they're making superior cars.

The hell are u talking about, I think the G is a great performance car. I also would not be caught dead driving the ugly thing. But it is a good car and I am VERY interested in the G35 coupe if they get the interior right.

I don't hate no damn auto company, that is silly.

The G is a better looking car than the IS, and the interior of the G isn't made to emulate a Casio watch. Just MO though. If you really didn't hate a car company, namely Nissan for making a car that competes with your precious IS and beats it, you wouldn't be here going on and on about how ugly it is. You're making a really good case as to why the G is such a bad car... images/icons/rolleyes.gif ...I visit other forums regularly, and there's a lot of hate for the G. I guess Nissan did it right this time.

I'm a fan of cars in general. I like the IS; it helped rejuvinate Japan to give us RWD cars again. And now with the G, other companies will be forced to compete. Sure, my 95 Maxima's completely obsolete compared to what's out now, but I don't go around crying about how 'ugly' the G is. I'm fine with saying the G has my, and everything with 4-doors under $35K beat in all categories. When everyone admits this truth we'll all be happier.

I mean, if the G wasn't better than everything else, wouldn't all the people in the G forum be complaining about the better car?

All I'm gonna say is that when the IS, TL, V6 Accord, V6 626, and anything that competed even remolety with the Maxima came out, I don't think anyone at ********************** went to their forums to cry about it. Why is everyone complaining now?

I think the G35 has the handling dynamics but I don't like how it looks. Hell some people think the IS looks like a Civic. But both are great Japanese cars giving the leader, the 3 series, a run for it's money finally.

Yeah, they are both great cars, and when performance models come out (think G45 vs IS430 vs M3?) the world will be a better place...haha, j/k. I think that will be the true test of which car out is the best...when their chassises(?) are put to their respective limits. Until then we'll just have to wonder...
