opinions on older imprezas?

any general comments on the older imprezas, non WRX i mean, just the 98 and back years? stuff like reliability, availability of performance/replacement parts, etc.

realize this is kind of a dumb place to ask but thought it wouldnt hurt.

They are good and go fast w/a turbo kit...and there are some out there...it's a great project car...

I knew someone who had one and turbo'ed it and it would beat out Dinan supercharged M3's...so it was fast.

From my experience with the Imprezas, they are very reliable cars. Even the WRX are very reliable. There are tons of the older generations WRX over here, and I've seen a couple with more than 400whp that are daily driven.
