I will be purchasing the G35 within the next 2~4 months perhaps....and I was just thinking what other options I have besides just G35? I thought I will be able to get a pretty good SLIGHTLY USED CAR in this price range....some of the cars I am considering, if I can find one that is in good condition that is.....

1. Lexus GS400/GS430 (99~02)
2. BMW 540i (98~2002)
3. MB C43 AMG (98~00)

Worth considering?? Dunno Lets hear some opinions images/icons/cool.gif

personally i like to opt for a reasonable new car.

i mean if my choices were a civic or a 2 year old accord, i would go for the accord. well to me a new decent car is better. and to me a g35 is more than decent but thats just my opnion. plus the new 5 and new gs is coming out so it will be a generation old. while the g wil be around until 2007 i suppose. plus a longer warranty.

540i/6 is a great car, thats where my vote would go, but most people will probably scream G35.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial[/img]The Lexus will probably cost more than a new G35. The other two will hit you with huge maintenance costs.

If you were cross-shopping other makes in the same class, it's always smarter to buy the used car since you avoid a lot of depreciation. But your jumping into a new class of cars which require a fortune to maintain (other than Lexus 'til it hits 60-100K).
