Does anyone out there have pics/schematics of the 2003 Honda Accord? I've seen those sorry sketches from in or about December 2001. If anyone has anything more credible or recent, please share. Thanks.

Still can't row your own gears with the V-6 eh? Come on Honda! It does come with a Navi option though.

I'm not sure I believe all the introductory info...I heard at the Acura dealership that Honda has a few surprises...maybe more horsepower than has been rumoured and maybe a 6 speed manual with the V6...just have to wait and see.

i don't know what to believe anymore. hondas vp said 240hp wasn't enough, he's quoted as saying this, so i DO expect 250hp. i've also heard the coupe was actually supposed to be sporty this time around, but we'll see.

And people said the 02 Altima looked like so many other cars.

If that's really the 02/03 Accord, here's what I think it mimics:

Front grille: A Chrysler (take your pick of which)
Headlights: C'mon, it's like they ripped them directly off an 02 Altima.
Side Profile: Acura (but that's alright since they are once company)
Tailights: Mercedes SL500, et al.

Wow, I've always complained about Honda being boring and when they finally do something new I don't like it. 2002 Accord Coupe is the best looking Honda IMO. This new one looks less sporty and Korean. Did they really need to kill off the Prelude for that?

It looks like a Mercuary Cougar, but will sell like, well, like a Honda. Too bad.

In other threads of v6accord.com, there is "confirmed" information about a 6 speed and NAVI. Now, what type of engine is it going to get? A carryover a la Motor Trend? Or the highly rumored 240+hp Altima competitor??

I have a feeling it will look very close to the pic above just look at the Mag X pics:

http://www.mag-x.com/scoop/accord0202/02.jpg

http://www.mag-x.com/scoop/accord0202/01.jpg

Mag-X is always very accurate. Remember the new Camry we were basically staring it in the face about 6 months before it came out.

If this is the new Accord they have totally ripped off the Altimas front end headlights and even have a bit of the side in it. What happened to the swept C pillar like the Camry huh Honda. If Honda keeps on waiting to see how competitors design their cars and then bring out theirs looking like copy cats the public is going to know what level they belong on and it won't be on the same level with Nissan and Toyota. I think we are starting to see just how Big Nissan and Infinti are compared to Honda and Acura. Hondas smallness is starting to show. No V8's, no trucks no real SUVs. Nissan is the only other automaker that has the might to step to Toyota and the other big boys.

Seems like Nissan is finally leading the way!

found some more pics of the accord coupe here:
http://thehollywoodextra.com/honda/honda.html

i know most ppl bash this site, but these pics are accurate...man, i cant believe Honda screwed the coupe. If i were to buy the coupe, I'd stick with the 2002 EX V6 model.

All Hollywoodextra did was take the pics, flip them around, paint them green, and put in different background. Notice the angles are exactly the same except flipped. LMAO look closely cuz in the rear 3/4 pic from Hollywoodextra you actually see the rear window of the white White Nissan Quest (at least I think that's what it is) from the first set of pics. Its right above the dashboard on the passanger side window, which in reality is the driver's window flipped. Look even closer and see the reflections on the side match up perfectly. Sorry dude, but that site still sux.

What's strange is that in both sets of pics looking at it from the rear 3/4 view makes the windowline look rather straight, but looking at it from the front 3/4 it looks very flared and slopes steep continuing to a very high rear. In other words the distance from the back whellwell to the window looks much different between the two shots. Something weird is up with that unless the paint is not picking up the angles good from the rear images/icons/confused.gif

Hmm thanx for pointing tat out, GroovinGTR. Heh, didnt even notice it. Ok, so the site still sux. Anyway, i noticed the window angle thing too. Could it be that the botoom pic shows the accord as it underwent hardbraking? but then again, that cloth thing is in the way so maybe not. very peculiar. also, those door handles seem awfully low, like they were photoshopped onto the body or something.

Fugly... The Mag X drawings looked more sporty and nicer, a la Mazda 6/Altima, much better than the real thing. It's pretty nasty how low the door handles are located. The wheels also look puny.
