2002 Altima not to have a Cassette stereo?

This seems to me to be a glaring omission, come on, we're not in Entry-luxury segment yet, people like me have lots of cassettes and I think the new Altima should have Bose like the Audi, 6 CD + Cassette!
I would hate to install an aftermarket head unit, what do you think?

I think this begs this question:

You REALLY still have tapes?

You REALLY want a Blose stereo?

That being said, I wish manufacturers would offer the stereos as an add on option and the cars could be purchased without a stereo at all or with one of your choice. None of the factory systems are anything great and all of them cost too much. I realize the stereos are money makers for them, but they could atleast have a delete option that takes off the stereo and reduces the price by a reasonable amount that could be applied to a real stereo.
