this might sound stupid but how do i cut a nice hole for a custom box?
i have 2 10" subs going in

the box part is about done

I have to admit that does sound pretty silly being that you apparently knew how to build the box itself. The calculations required for getting the correct air space and such is far more complicated than cutting the hole.

But, if you don't have a pattern to trace then get a large compass or find something round that fits the size of your speaker, draw the circle in pencil, and then use a jigsaw to cut the hole.

I hope you used plenty of wood glue and appropriate screws. Also remember to run silicone around all the inside seams, under the terminal cup, and around the hole where the speaker sits. Make sure the silicone is completely dry before putting the woofer in though, else the fumes could damage the cone material.
