What's your favorite driving music?

Mine?

If you like electronic/techno, Orbital's Diversions albumn is a must listen. I've been listening to DM, New Order, Front242, The Orb, Kraftwerk, etc. forever. Needless to say that Orbital is a band that has some very imaginative tunes and are ahead of their time. I know what some people say techno is mindless looping sounds made by a drum machine but I would consider Orbital as Very intelligent techno music.

didn't New Order make the original "Blue Monday"? i like the version Orgy made of it, but the original's cool in its own way. my favorite driving music is anything by Silverchair or KoRn, or any snazzy new song that i like at the moment, like Eiffel 65's "blue". that song just sticks in your head even though it's probably about being depressed

Yup, New Order wrote and first performed Blue Monday. Call me an old weezer but I much prefer New Order's version versus Orgy's metal rock variation.

I have the Euro mixed version of New Order's Blue Monday. All I have to say is sweet. Too bad the CD cost like $35 in the US. Basically, all the New Order's songs done in Euro mix.

I hate to admit it, but those commercials got me to go out and buy Who's Next. I had forgotten how killer that album is. Great for driving. Speaking of which, does anyone know where the music in the new Maxima stitching commercial comes from?

my fav driving song is probably Slipknot's "wait and bleed". that song's probably the baddest song i've heard in a while. P.O.D.'s "southtown" rocks pretty hard too. when i'm on the highway I usually put in KoRn's Issues CD, most of the trax are good so i can just let it play--if anybody likes hard rock i recommend Slipknot's album (self titled)

Although I like ALL kinds of music, metal, industrial and techno are the best (mostly fast) driving songs. Some great driving song to me are: Securitron by Fear Factory; Serial Thriller and Firestarter by Prodigy; Microwaved, W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G., Genius by Pitchshifter; Love Dump and Push It by Static X; Stupify by Disturbed; Denial by Sevendust; Hatebred and Raise the Deadman Stuck Mojo
