Once in a while, I noticed that some of the air pumps don't fit the tire valves (the valve where you pump air into). I mean, when I want to pump air into the tires, although it looks like it fit on the valve, but I can hear the "hssss" sound, indicating there is air leaking out and I cannot increase my tire pressure by that pump.
This is annoying since when I want to increase the tire pressure, and it isn't working, I actually result with a decreased tire pressure, and can't get it back up until I find a pump that fits!!! images/icons/mad.gif

I wonder if anyone knows how I can fix this?

Nothing is wrong with your air valves. That thing that you use to inflate the tires is missing a piece of rubber inside the tip. It's supposed to prevent air from escaping. If that piece is missing, then the air gets out. Go to another gas station & make sure that there is a rubber piece inside the tip. It should surround that tip that pushes in your air valves.
