I have a 01 Pathfinder and was wondering if wheels that fit on a chevy 6-lug would fit on my 6-lug pathfinder. Aren't they both 6-lug on a 5.5" center? Thanks for any info.

You know what. I had a 93 Nissan Pickup with the 6 lug hubs. I bought a set of 15x7 6 lug rims for it used. I'm not 100 percent sure; but, I think they had come off a 6 lug 4x4 Chevy. Call or email Tirerack and they should be able to answer that question for you.

Even if the wheel physically fits, if it doesn't have the proper offset, it will mess up the handling, and can cause suspension pieces to prematurely fail. You've probably seen those low-riders and hot-rodders who use wheels intended for rear-wheel drive cars on their front-wheel drive machines; the ones with the wheels/tires sticking way out from under the fender wells. They haven't a clue that the improper loading will cause the wheel bearing to eventually fail and sieze. RM
