Regardless of the actual age of the cars or their values, which 240SX do you think looks better?
I personally like the look of the S13. It has what I call a classic Sports Car style--reminiscient of Datsun 240, 260, and 280Z cars, as well as Porshe 924s and 944s.

I am going to take the easy way out and say that they all have their pluses. The S13 like Carsonjon said is simple and classic. Simplicity is the best sometimes.
The S14 starts trying to be a bit more sophisticated. One magazines said it reminded them of a baby Lexus SC.
The S15 is very elegant and muscular. It looks like an Italian GT designed by Pinafarinna(sp?).

i like the S14 over the S13 because it kinda looks like a Skyline. the S13 looks ok i guess but it's kinda like the old late '80s 300ZX. the S14 looks more refined without looking faster than it really is (like the nonturbo 3000GT's). The S15 looks great, Nissan's japanese studio is putting out some winners lately, NDI on the otherhand... sometimes they got it, sometimes they don't

Actually, the coolest looking S-cars around are the hybrids. The S13/RS13 SilEighty, where the front end of the Silvia is installed on the 180SX. The RS13/S13 1-Via, aka US market 240SX coupe. Front end of the 180SX on Silvia rear. The S14/RPS13 S14SilEighty where either the earlier or later front end is installed onto the body of the 180SX. The S15/RPS13 where the S15 front end is installed on to the 180SX. Or S14/3 Silvia or S15/3 or S14/5 Silvia where the different model's front end is put onto the other ones.
My personal favorite is the S15SilEighty. It gives it a wicked look with the S15 frontend and the sporty hatch rear, especially with the '96+ round taillights.

I have owned both models a 92 and a 95, and I think the s14 looks much better. it sort of looks like a skyline, and I like its headlights better than the old flip ups.
I love the way the new s15 looks and I think nissan could make a profit with them if they would leave the japaneese engines in them.

i ran across this pictures of a '94 Nismo 270R at supercars.net. what were some of the performance figures on this car? (i'm guessing it had 270 hp)

I don't know too much about this car...
In addition to some aero parts, interior accessories, brake upgrades and suspension upgrades; I found that NISMO added an upgraded intercooler, muffler and air cleaner.
I'm unaware of any turbo, computer, engine internal, or other upgrades.

S-13 has good aerodynamics to start with and looks better with kits, the S-14 has nicer interior though. I wish S-13s had black cloth available.
anyone recommend replacement carpets?
