If you're just trying to make smoke/noise and you don't care about your tires, find a good sized parking lot, turn the wheel to one side and and rev it up and dump the clutch. lotsa circles, lotsa smoke/noise. if you have an auto, hold the brake and gas it to about 2 grand and let of the brake and floor it. this bad for your car but it's not mine so have fun if you wanna. don't get tagged for reckless driving.

its bad for the whole driveline, tranny, tranny mounts I never smoke it.
As I've already stated in other posts, I can squeal all the way to the redline in 1st and chirp in 2nd with my stock '92. However, to actually do a burnout, as in turning the tires into a pile of rubber, you'd have to keep on foot on the brakes (stops the front wheels) and then floor it in 1st (on an auto) or let out the clutch in 1st (on a 5 speed). Problem is I can't figure out how to let out the clutch, give it gas and still use the breaks since I only have 2 feet. Plus I don't wanna hurt my car. And no E-brake since that stops the rear wheels, defeats the purpose on a RWD car. So unless you've got deep pockets or it's not your car, I wouldn't even try if I were you. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif
Oh ya, almost forgot. If all you want is smoke, pour out some bleach on the ground and position your rear tires in the middle. Then pop the clutch and hold your breath. A few years ago me and a friend stole the keys to some guys Ford Festiva at school and did a smoke show in the parking lot. It was sooo funny.
