sup 240 peoples, it jus came to my attention that on saturday, march 30th, wheel warehouse(shop here in greensboro) is having a car show/open drags at peidmont dragway. it's a bit short notice i think, but it's just a thought i had. people that weren't able to make the last one in raliegh could attend(like myself) plus the people that attended that meet, and it gives us a nice place to show off nissan power as well. after that, dinner and entertainment shouldn't be a problem and if people wanna cruise, then we could also shoot over to high point later that evening since it's a saturday show. anyone interested or think it's a good idea, respond ok, maybe we can get the ball rolling.

I let the DA perfomance guys know about the meet, they said that they probably wouldnt be able to go, but they wanted to tell us about the NOPI meet with them in June, check out their site, sounds cool

There is also a big show coming up in April..called Slam Session. go to www.animatedattractions.com (http://www.animatedattractions.com) for more info. its more of a lowrider show but lately there have been a lot of imports. I'll be there either showing, or hangingout at the JK Motorsports booth or the Madspeed area. I know that the JK Motorsports dude will have his 240 painted by then and the other guy i know will probably be there. Let me know if you want to come down for it. Its in late April.

yeah, but he is gettin around that...our lake house is conviently located in a county that does NOT have smog tests..only visual...so he is gonna register it there images/icons/wink.gif ( he has no cat!)

The only county that tests smog is in Charlotte, Mecklenburg county and maybe another, but not sure. To previous postings: Team Kaos down here in Wilmington (including myself) is planning on rolling to Slam Session in G'ville. About the Deal's Gap thing, I heard about that from the DA performance guys, if I can get time off, the 240's from down here are going to try to go. Hopefully by then I will have my SR in my recently acquired s14. See you guys around hopefully.

well i'm not sure how many people are planning to go, but i'll jus introduce myself to those i see. my car is a 95 base model, ruby pearl(burgundy)paint, i would say stock, but not sure if i'll have installed enough stuff to say its noticably modified by then. either way it won't be hard, there aren't too many 240sx enthusiasts around these parts, i swear, the triad is a hotbed for tacky cars.....

Since I missed the Raliegh meet as well I think I will definitely be there. Now if only I know the way to there. My car is complete stock and I really want to see what other people do to their car to inspire my purchase aftermarket parts.

Hope churrch Road exit and take a left. follow that road out a few miles I am *pretty* sure its the first stop sign you come too. theres a fire station on your right. you will take a left and its a couple lblocks up the road on the right. theres also directions on piedmonts website.... Enhanced Performance in Goldsboro is going to rent out Kinston Dragstrip sometime this year and are going to have an import shootout. Hopefully by then they will have my SR installed and running well so I can run it. We all should meet up for the event. If that's true, then I can say Orange county (Hillsborough / Chapel Hill) does. Pretty sure Wake and Durham counties do too.

anyone else going to slam session near G'ville next month? We are going to try to get all the 240's from Wilmington up there. One of ours is showing, mine is nowhere near ready for anything but daily driving. Also, when are all the NC people meeting up again?

Yeah thats my understanding... yellow (visual), blue (smog), but who knows. Just have to find the right people to inspect, same deal with tinted windows, I have less than 20% on pass and drivers windows, 5% on rear quarter windows and rear window.

Yeah, A lot of Team Kaos from Wilm is staying in Williamston at some hotel. I am stayin there with them cause I am pretty sure I am showing. But I can meet up with all the 240 people sometime if we are getting together.

a buddy told me the car show is at williamstead at the civic center? as far as he knows. williamstaed is not a big town so just look for other cars and trucks another note there is a gathering @ the rock on the 14(sorry for the short notice)if anything chang ill keep you posted images/icons/tongue.gif
