Just wanted to post up info on the event. Since we had a couple of meets a Go-Kart track, i think this might be of interest to 240sx club in the area.
This is a lot of fun, you get to drive a kart for 6-8 hours with your own team. You schedule your own pits, fuel, and driver changes. The karts are 11 hp and they are VERY demanding physically.
I have done about 10 endurance events and it is a blast. Email Adam or me with questions (Probably Adam, since he is organizing the event). I am no way associated with the organization, just spreading info.
I think many of you will be interested in this!
Here is the INFO.

ps. Don't know if this is too off topic.
Up to the moderators...
On Sunday, May 12th, the University of Massachusetts Motorsports Club, in conjunction with Endurance Karting, will be hosting a 6 hour endurance race on the UMass, Amherst campus. The karts used are a European racing chassis with 11hp Honda motors that are good for about 55 m.p.h and cornering forces of about 1.5G's. They reward the smoothness, skill, and consistency of the driver.
You just enter a team of up to 8 drivers (4-5 is recommended), and devise your own racing and pit strategy. Everything is provided (safety equip., kart, fuel, mechanics, etc..) , just show up and race for 6 hours on what will be a challenging road course made in a large parking lot on the UMass campus.
It would be great to see some teams from the Nissan club represented at this inaugural event. Please don't hesitate to contact me, I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
