View Full Version : July Tampa Meet
**DONOTDELETE**
05-30-2002, 06:33 AM
There has been suggestions for a meet to take place on the weekend of July 4th in the Tampa area. A few things. First, let's get a count on how many will for sure be able to make it. Now, 2nd, should we set it as a one day or a two day event?
How many people will be willing to pay upfront for a dyno event? Generally, a three run dyno session w/ wide band will run $40.
Before anything's decided, we should see how everyone wants to do this.
Based on a two day event, charging people around $50 per car w/ driver and $5 per person, will cover a healthy lunch and also a sercured dyno session. Everything will really depend on how many people are showing up. Everything will be a maybe until an approx number is said. Now, there should be a pre-pay price and also a price for people joining at the last second. If there are enough people that are travelling to the event, it would also be possible for us to search around with local motels that are willing to get a group rate going. It's June already, if we want this to happen in July we need to get this thing going.
Example schedule -
Meet Gathering - July 5th at 12:00pm at the given location (preferred at the selected resturant)
After lunch get a big caravan going
Head to Ybor or Malibu for the night
Sunday, July 6th, meet up and get everyone's car dynoed.
Suggestions everyone!
Thanks

aaww, now there are three(3) Tampa meet threads. Can we combine them?
irocsx2002

Well I guess everyone keeps "talkin" about having a meet but Ian is the one who will probabely be "getting things done."
We all know from the previous threads that there is definitly going to be a meet in Tampa. We should make this the new thread and forget about the others.
I can confirm that I will be there and will prepay for the dyno when the prices are set, etc.
Thanks,

All right, at least some one replied.
Resturant choices:
- Hooters
- TGI Fridays
- Rio Bravo
I know for sure these places are located centrally on Del Mabry with a pretty sizable parking lot. This will be one of the most important decision we need to make and fast. Give me a list of resturants you all may have in mind and I will go to each and everyone and find out what their interest might be.
As far as plans after lunch/dinner, Malibu has been mentioned. Well, cars (street races/people meeting up for Saturday, whatever you want to call it) starts to meet up at around 9~10 pm. If we planned to meet at a resturant at 12:00, for both the car show and lunch, we can all cruz over to Malibu or whatever we decide to do at around 5ish. Which will give us planty of time to kill at Malibu and then head out for the races.
Since it's going to be a 2 day event, I suggest that we have the car show on Saturday and dyno day on Sunday. I will see what I am able to work with the pricing of the dyno. What I plan to do will be a pre-pay price and a price for the actual dyno day.
As far as motel/hotel goes. I will need to know if anyone will be needing a place to stay. If there are enough people, I will again, go around to local hotels/motels in the general area and see if we can get a group rate going.
Come on, this thread/subject seems to be dying. Suggestions and any other comments are more then welcome.

First off, I'm game for meeting anywhere and eating anywhere. I'm in no matter what...as are quite a few of my friends with Nissans.
Second the days will be Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th....just don't want any confusion...hehehe.
I think Hooters would be a good place to go, but I'd talk to any and all resteraunts and see what thier thoughts are. And for your sake Ian, I'd assume at least 50 cars will show just to be on the safe side.
I'm also good for the dyno runs as well..and hotel info is going to be neded to, cause I will propably mak it a weekdn thing....2 day event sounds great!!!

I will find out about the dyno pricing later on today. I will have that listed on this thread. As far as place we can consider, I will call around and see what places will welcome us.
I just called a few hotels/motels, but being Sunday, not much info was gathered. Normal pricing according to the few place are right around $75~$130 a night. What I am aiming for will be a centralized location, a decent motel/hotel, at around $40~$50 a night. I do need feed back on this ASAP.

OK, a few problems that I am running into.
Called a few places, but no one's interested in hosting something like this. What they don't want is to have a huge group of people to take their parking lot on a holiday weekend and have no business coming in. I know what a lot of you are thinking, we are potential customers, that's true, but we will be in the place for maybe an hour and that's it.
OK, a lot of people are suggesting public parking lots, such as International Mall, or USF, this will not work out. For the amount of people that are coming, it's not wise to be chased out of places by the cops. We need somewhere that we can actually stay and not get hassled.
One place that I can think off will be at the end of the Gandy bridge. Need some suggestions guys.

I'll start spreading the word to the Miami guys as soon as I get a definate amount of time to tell them to ask for off from their jobs, and a hotel near to the meet where they can sleep.

LETTUCE LAKE PARK?
Have not been there myself, but will go and check it out tomorrow.
I called around to a number of places, but no one's willing to host us. So, Plan B, at a State Park. As long as we are not being stupid, we should be OK. We can have our gathering there for the afternoon.
Meet at the park at 3:00 afternoon on July 6th. Hang out and check everyone's car out. Break for dinner and meet up at Malibu Grand Prix. I am currently working a group deal with them right now, I will have all that information tomorrow regarding that.
So, a basic layout -
July 6th, Saturday -
3:00 - Meet at LETTUCE LAKE PARK
5:00 - Break for dinner (hopefully everyone will end up at the same place)
7:00 - Meet at Malibu Grand Prix
WHENEVER - Head to the races
July 7th, Sunday -
11:00 - Meet at which ever motel most people are staying at and head out to the dyno
I am contacting around local motels that are located right of I-275, which will be the most convienent for everyone. More info to come!!!

LETTUCE LAKE PARK and MALIBU GRAND PRIX and I275 MOTELS/HOTELS are like less than 10 miles of each other.....This sounds like a nice setup.
Let me know if there is more i can do. Find out more about Lettuce Lake and give us your opinion. Don't forget to roam all areas of the park and check out different lots and not just the front ones.

Ft Desoto Beach is rated among the top 10 in the world. It's a state park & quite tranquil.
We'll have to pay to get in ($3?).
Proposal: we should meet off an I-275 or I-4 exit. That's where the Orlando/Melbourne/Miami people will be coming from. We should consider the folks coming down I-75 too.
In any case, we shouldn't meet at Ft. Desoto b/c that's another 45 min trip west from Tampa. The exhilerating run over the bridges should be done once we're all together images/icons/smile.gif

Ian,
if Lettuce Lake Park is gonna work out ok, see if there are any bbq pits and/or bench areas....we can have a big bbq while we hangout in the parking lot..i'd be more than happy to cook, just need to get people to bring burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, drinks, etc...we did this at the last meet i went to, turned out great....
jk240sx
06-05-2002, 04:01 AM
the only problem with Ft desoto is that this will be the weekend of the fourth and that place will be packed. we will not be able to get adequate parking since it will be first come first serve.
lettuce lake is a good choice. i've been mountainbiking there. it's linked by trail to the hillsboro state park. if we can't get parking at lettuce lake, we could try further west up fletcher to Morris bridge park or flatwoods.

Just came back from Lettuce Lake Park. We have ourselves a place for the meet. There are three major parking area in the park. I would say there are about 30 parking spaces in each of the parking area. I think that should be sufficent enough for us!
Lettuce Lake Park will be easy to find, no hassel from anyone and there are also lots of motels right outside of the park that people are able to stay at.
A few things -
Spoke to Malibu Grand Prix, Courtyard Marriott, and also the Secret Service Dyno. Here's the scoop.
Malibu Grand Prix - $19.99
Which will include:
- 3 Indy Style Racing Laps
- Unlimited Go-Karting
- Unlimited Mini Golf
- 10 Game Tokens
They are open till 12:00 am on Sat. Which will give us plenty of time to enjoy our $20.
Secret Service Dyno - $45
- Approx 15 cars capacity for Sunday
- Includes 3 runs
- Includes Wide Band
Courtyard Marriott - $59.00 per night
I have called numerous hotels and motels, the Courtyard Marriott seems to be the best bet out of all of them. The hotel is located right of off I-75, which is one block east of Lettece Lake Park. They were not the cheapest, but they are the nicest out of all the hotels that I called. Motel 6, Super 8, Days Inn, hotels that are not the greatest are charging $50 per night for a group rate, which made my believe people are probably more willing to pay $9 more for a 5 star hotel.
Reservation information will be posted later on today.

MidNiteJedi,
There was quite a few benchs with a BBQ area. I would love to get a BBQ going. For something like this, I think it would be best if we can get people to pitch in like $8~10 per person. Like I said, I don't mind getting everything organized, but will need funds to make everything happen.
A few things for everyone to think about:
I think it is better off, for confirmed attendences that people pre-pay. If you are for sure coming and will stick it out for the whole meet, I think it's good to pre-pay for the Malibu package and also towards the BBQ.
As for Dynoing, that's dealt souly through the dyno shop, I tried to get a better price worked up, but they are not budging on the price.
StealthmodeS14
06-05-2002, 06:04 AM
How would you have folks pre-pay...when they arrive at the meet or are you speaking even beofre that???...confused.
Either way it doesn't matter to me...I'm a shoe-in. Glad evrything came together...now we just have to round up more people....The Courtyard by <Mriott is a nice hotel too...god job Ian, I'll IM you again this afternoon

Bill,
That's what I will need suggestions for. Here my problem. OK, so I front the money, getting a couple hundred burgers and hot dogs, but how many people are for sure coming? If people are for sure that they will come, I don't think paying up front, to sercure the BBQ and Malibu will be a problem. As far as paying ahead of time, maybe paypal or something like that.
If we just want to meet up for a little while and all head out to a resturaunt, that's cool, but it will break everyone apart. If we get a BBQ going, it will be a lot more fun with everyone chillin around. BUT, I would feel more comfortable for people to sercure that with us, rather just an empty promise that they will show up.

I've been ignoring this for the longest time, but it seems like it's getting pretty big, so I think I'm in! I'm coming from Ft. Lauderdale, and will be needing a hotel room on Saturday night. I will be typing up a quick e-mail in regards to the meet and am going to ask for your reply to whether or not you plan to attend. Even if you are fully aware that you do plan to come, please just shoot me back a quick e-mail with your answer. I'd like to have a solid number of attendees atleast a few weeks ahead of time...that means no longer than two weeks....It'd help out so much!!!

Most people that I have spoken to are more supportive to the BYOM thing. So, there WILL be a BBQ, for everyone that are coming and wants to eat, please being something along.
There are a total of 274 parking spaces at the park, with 12 BBQ areas. Only one BBQ area can be reserved, but it was already taken. The park opens at 8 am, I will be there early so we can get a BBQ for the day.

Sounds like BYOM (Bring your own meat) if a cook-out is in order. It's always too hard to organize the amount of food etc, etc... That way, whoever comes with food, eats. Just bring your food over to the grill. Let's see, 3pm at the park you say? Some people might not want to eat until later anyway being in between lunch and dinner. I myself love cookouts and would love to see everyone hang out and eat. If everyone can just bring enough food for whoever is coming with them, that would work. No prepay needed, and no ************ing about the kinda of fod etc...
If we need to prepay for Malibu, then that's fine. Oh, I won't be staying at a hotel, I'll drive home then come back. (I live about 45min away in case anyone wants to crash!?)
I'm not trying to say how it should work, but if everyone is not going to do everything (dyno, malibu, food, etc..) then it will be hard to regulate price!?! If you guys have all done this before though and can make it work, then just tell me to shutup.
I'm in. ~ john@digitizelife.com

Ian<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial[/img]Hey Ian,
I live in Tampa and I think that a great place to meet is on the Corner of Dale Mabry Hwy and Fletcher Ave. There is a closed down movie theatre called Mission Bell. Towards the night, it is very desolate and the parking lot is huge. There is a group of people that show up in their MR2’s but the parking lot is more than enough to accompany us all. We would have a choice of restaurants to meet at, there is a Chili’s across the street, a Denny's in the same plaza, a Rio Bravo (also in the same plaza) as well as a Checkers next to that (For the less extravagant peoples). If you guys wanted to go to Malibu, all u have to do is take Fletcher Ave. down to Nebraska Ave. and make a left and you are right in front of Malibu. 275 is right in between Malibu and Mission Bell. Tell me what you think!

Hey guys, this shouldn't be a big deal. If you need to drive far and don't want to bring a cooler, that's cool. There should be a Publix or whatever nearby where you can stop and pickup some junk. As for drinks, we can get someone to make a drink run for those who didn't bring any with them. How early do we need to prepay for go-carts? If we can don't need to pay really early, we can collect the $20 when we all get there, take names of who paid, then someone can run down to Malibu and let them know that we are all coming and give them dough. If we need to pay early, then pay-pal it up. Whoever lives near Malibu. Have we talked to Malibu yet about reservations? Do we need them? Oh, and let's try getting an official intenerary posted by whomever is taking control of this. That way we can work out the fuzz as soon as possible. Coo?

Come on guys. We need to get it together a little here. I have all the information listed already. Pretty much decided on what will happen. All information are listed under the new thread. Pre-pay or not will be up to you guys. I am just trying to keep everyone grouped together and have a little more fun, instead of wasting time running around to stores when we can all stick together.
Malibu has already been setup. There is absolotly no problem for us to get the tickets when we get there, but with 50 or more people, it will be quite a long wait. No one's permitted to enter the park until everyone in the party's registered, granted with the amount of people, it will take some time.
Just trying to make everything easier. There are plenty of people that knows me here in Tampa, I am not going to run off with your $10 burger money.

Reservation information will be posted later on today.<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial[/img]You guys might want to post this on the ********************** board as there are several max guys active on that board who would likely attend.
I was going to suggest John for the dyno, glad you are using him.

Tell everyone the truth, I don't think Lettuce Lake Park will have too many options as to how we would like to park. I tried to look for somewhere that everyone could gather, with a decent size lot, without any hassel from anyone. Lettuce Lake Park was one of those places. There are plenty of parking spaces, but at the same time, there will be other people using the public grounds as we are.
Let's just have FUN. As for pictures, I will start thinking about a location where we all can cruz to, for the group photos. Suggestions anyone? In the area that we are in?

As I have stated from the inception, I want this meet to out perform the 1st one in Orlando!!!
To capture the level of success from the meet, we will need a dedicated few to perform as photographers.
As you can imagine, this will involve conducting a "site survey" of the parking lot & pre-planning (to a certain extent) how the cars will be lined up for group shots.
We'll probably need a dedicated shot for each body style too (240SX, Maxima, Sentra, etc).
I know these are nit-picky details but if someone has time to spare, we can spare some confusion prior to the BIG day images/icons/grin.gif
Definitely not a priority though...

If we have cars grouped from the beginning, it'll be easier. Once the final roster is completed, we can have roughly appropriated "designated" areas. I agree it'll be tough, especially if we don't preplan.

OK, suggestion to Chris. It would be cool to actually group all different models by itself. Let's try to put the year, model, and style of the cars that are confirmed on the RSVP page. This will let everyone know what's coming and it will easier for everything to be set up.

Nice site....
BTW, when you go and look out for exit numbers and such from I-275, I-75 and I-4, keep in mind that some of the exit numbers have been changed and are totally different from old exit numbers.
For example, An exit may say 237 on the board, and than on the side of the board it will give a another exit number under the heading old and a number, this will be the original exit number, old maps will show this and not new ones, as new ones took effect fairly recently, few weeks only.

I can't wait either, I hope this will start the trend of Florida Gatherings, making it an annual thing that happens, of course with a HUGE attendance list!

Seems like things are moving along nicely in florida. On a bit of an OT level...i have something for ian zilvia.net topic (http://www.zilvia.net/f/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?s=3d0d649e16acffff;act=ST;f=4;t=9817 ;st=50) Ian you know what this is about. Get back to me ASAP or i'll have to take matters to the authorities.
Okay, I got a question..
All yall down south wanna roll out as a group or what?
I think it'd be cool for all of us to meet up somewhere around the 595 corridor at around 9:30 or so, and just roll out on 75.
If yall would be interested, I can find somewhere to meet up, so we can all get gassed up, and roll out.
Anyone who's favorable to the idea, just make a note here, and shoot me an email so I know. (una1337@yahoo.com)

Anyone know of a ********************** type website? Let me know and I will go there to list something.

OH, something I forgot to mention to everyone. This past Saturday, we went out to the local car shows (races), right in the parking lot, we gathered up around 15 S13s and one S14. It was cool with just that many, man, I can't imagine 50~80 cars............getting excited.
**DONOTDELETE**
06-17-2002, 06:25 PM
PLEASE NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please take note that the location of the gathering has been changed. We are no longer going to be meeting at Lettuce Lake Park , the gathering will be held at Lake Park, these are two different places!
I reason for this change is due to the overwhelming response, Lettuce Lake Park will not be able to hold all of us. Due to that, we chose a park that's a little bigger in SIZE.
Directions will be updated tomorrow. Please stay tuned.
Thanks

Long story, I messed up with rockout and have not been able to take care of it yet. I've e-mailed him about it already.
As for others, I really have nothing to say, started a groupbuy in the interest of the 240 community and it back fired, due to one guy's impatience. He couldn't wait for more then a day and a half and started to talk s... about my business. I was able to give everyone basically wholesale on Tein's, but this guy pays me and expected me to call him each and everyday to check in with him.......and so fourth.
That's basically it.

Anyone that's on the list already, please e-mail me if for any reason you can't make it.
Thanks

As most of you should have read, Lake Park was not going to reserve any spots for us due to the 4th of July Weekend. After talking to them for the past 2 weeks, they are finally agreeing for us to use the entire back area of the park and also the BBQ shelter. MAN, that's good for me, I don't have to get up at 7 in the morning to go and fight over the place (actually Rob, President of the Florida 300ZX Chapter was going to the earliest out there).

I'm not aware of a "guy" with an S14 with Sr swap and S15 conversion. I do know Julia Phan with her S14 with S15 conversion, but her Sr is out of an S13...hmmmmmm.
Russ also told me he is close to convincing Dennis up in Atlanta to make the trip down as well....350 rwa hp on stock KA internals baby images/icons/grin.gif

Well, again, have nothing to say. If you go back and read all the related articles on Zilvia, you may get a little better idea on what all went down. Don't just read something that's one sided, rather read the complete story. I am done defending myself. I have typed what I have to too many times, no need to do it anymore. For your info, money wasn't lost. Money's being refunded by my distributor, because the customer told me to forget about the order because he wrecked his car. He waited a while and was willing to wait. 2 month out of wait was waiting for a low mileage black top with a front end conversion, something that a lot of places are not able to get.
So, I am sorry that you will not be able to make it to the gathering.

You'll have to forgive me for harping on this subject just once more.....forget the fact that this "Rockout" subject doesn't have anything to do with the organization of this meet. Face the fact that folks sometimes do make mistakes...I'm quite sure Ian has done his best to resolve the situation.
As for him being reffered to as a "crook"....explain that, seeing as how more than likely Ian will possibly lose money on putting together this meet. I've only spoken to Ian once on the phone and numerous times thru IM and just from that, I'm able to take away that he's a stand-up guy. I've done my fair share of trying any way I can to make this meet a succes, but what I've done pails in comparison to what he's done.....bottom line is that Ian has busted his A$$ off putting together this meet and I highly doubt a mistake such as the one he's made will prevent people from showing up......excluding one of course images/icons/rolleyes.gif
just a heads up....you won't be missed images/icons/grin.gif

Thank you very much for sticking up for me.
I just called over to the Marriott. When you call over there, there's not one particular person you need to talk too. Just tell them you are reserving a room for the Nissan Convention and they will know. Kristi was the person I setup the group rate with, but she's on holiday until sometime next week. MUST BE NICE.
Chris, fireworks.....that would be cool as hell. We will not be able to do it at the park, since there's quite a bit of wooded area and also since it won't be close to being dark. However, you can always get some and when I win my first race with whomever, you can light that s~~~ off!

Hey all
This is for everybody.
If someone has a problem with Ian or Lost Projects, please refrain from ****in' into his other posts where its irrelevant.
People of community know what's going on that want to know both sides of the story. For peeps who just read one post from someone **********ing about Ian or Lost Projects should consider getting both sides of the story before commenting, let alone commenting in a post not related to subject. WHY NOT IM or EMAIL or better yet come to meet and have fun while you see the guy and have a better judgment altogether.
I have personally done some business with Ian now and it's a great experience. If i have to do it again, i will go thru Ian anyday for anything that i may need.

I'm up for a party, but no hos for me either.. ah well, they're nice to look at! I'll meet up with you guys too when you're riding out of South FL. 595 is actually a bit further south than I am, but it's no big deal (I'm between Commercial and Atlantic).

Party.....hummmmmm.....
Here's the thing. When will the party be? If, everyone goes out to the races at night, we will be out till like 2~3 in the morning. Man, I am getting old, it's bed time after that. Bill brought it up, you should put up a SITE all about it, with sponsors and s~~~.....hahahahhaa

Walkie Talkies is a an excellent idea. I have two walk-abouts. Man, I am happy with like 5 cars, can't imagine anthing over that, especially over 90....WAHAHWAAHHAWAWAHHAAA

I got some walkie talkies I'll bring them along.

DDR!!!!!!!!
Hmm..
Hows about we setup mini groups of like 5-10 cars, preferably with people that allready know each other, with everyone having a 2way radio (talkabout field radio style, not just a ratshack walkie talkie) to communicate, with each group on a seperate channel.
That would make orginization much easier, not to mention travel.
Imagine 90 cars trying to make a light.. I dont see that happening too well images/icons/smile.gif
As for the party, I cant imagine everyone wanting to street race for 5 hours...
I say those of us that want to party head back to the hotel, meet up in one of our rooms, we'll do a BYOB kinda deal, get drunk, and do whatever..
Im sure I'll have enough extra room in my trunk for some blacklights and such images/icons/smile.gif
N-e-wayz, tell me what yall think about those ideas..

i wish i could drift...no LSD and really sticky tires make it really hard to do...but i might have to bring along some spare tires just incase images/icons/wink.gif
thats a good idea of splitting into smaller groups...have locals lead us around to the various places...hey Ian...why dont we all go to that island place in the middle of that one bridge and have a lil "show" there for everyone...there is plenty of parking images/icons/smile.gif
for you people around orlando...we usually meet up sat. nites on e. colonial dr. (hwy 50) in the bennigans parking lot infront of the library at 10pm...all are more than welcome!

I wasn't too worried about having a party per say anyways. I was just going to go back to hotel room and drink with some buddies. I'm all about some street racing, but we all know how gectic that gets running around all over town from cops......I'm just gonna play evrything by ear until I talk to folks at the meet....

Chris, over the Gandy Bridge we will go....hehehe. That would be a nice little ride, especially with all the cars that we will have. I am not all that into going to one place and then sit around for an hour. I'd much rather drive to all the spots that people hang out at, crash it and move on. Of course, that will be different for spots that actually have races going on. Hope all goes well.

06-26-2002, 06:00 AM
Yeah guys....we need to make it a point to hit up any other possible meeting locations that night...crash the party and then move on. What I wouldn't give to roll into rice hangout with a crew of 50+ Nissans....BOV's sounding off like a God damn marching band.......WOOOHOOOOOO!!!

I can't wait till the Sat night, I can already feel it!
For get burnin CDs, they have those things that you can install now that makes any BOV sound you want, and it's suppose to be EN SYNC with every shift, I have them on sell for $350 (not really).

Hey guys, I haven't visited this thread in awhile. WOW! Got big.
Anyway, I only have two friends with Nissan's and only one that might come (300zx). I'll be coming by myself most likely (from Palmetto) in my stock a$$ S13 HB. I wasn't planning on staying for the second day since I won't be on the dyno but it's sounding more and more fun. If I wanted to stay, could I get a room with someone? 60 bucks is a bit much for myself just to hang out for the next morning!?
Also, I have done alot of photography in college and as a hobby. I would LOVE to document the meet and take pics for eveyone. HOWEVER, my camera is out of service! If I can find one to use, I'll be more than happy to be the photographer. If I can get a camera to borrow,(hint hint) I can scan ALL the photos after the meet, and make prints for anyone who wants one. Dood, I can do individual pics and group pics, as well as an 'official meet pic!' Ooooooooh..
Oh Ian, make sure you change my info on your site. I'm john@digitizelife.com and drive a White '91 S13 HB. Thanks!

Sounds good Jhon...I have a digicam and a regular, but can only take so many pics on the digi.....crap.
I'm sure someone will have one...we'll need tons of pics.....we need to find some way to get one huge A$$ pic of every car that came...groupshot...might be hard seeing as how the number of cars attending won't stop growing...hahahaha

Hm.. drunken DDR? Sign me up for a BOV CD too.. If I crank it and make "WSSSSSHHHHH" noises, I might forget that my car puts out a ground pounding 110 hp!
Oh yeah, if anyone has a place I can crash or wants to split a hotel room, let me know. sideshowjaime@gospeedgo.com. I ran out of cash because I went to all of the Central FL autocrosses last month. Oops.

Anyway, so photo's are already taken care of? Ok, coo.
Oh Ian, parts? You mean from your shop? If you can give me a good deal on Tein HE's that would save me some shipping! DOH! images/icons/smile.gif That'll be my first mod to my 240! Wow, and you guys would all be a part of it.... I think i'm gonna cry.. images/icons/frown.gif

Oh woops, forgot to mention I am bringing a friend. Bret - Black 96(?)300zx. I don't think we will be staying over-night. Scratch the room share for me! We will bring our own food and drinks. How neccesary is the pre-pay for Malibu? I will be happy to pay now if you think it's a must. Sorry, just trying to save for them Tein's!Tanks

Heyyyy... Some of us dont have turbos remember.. images/icons/frown.gif images/icons/frown.gif images/icons/frown.gif

.....8 more days!!!!

Damn Bill.. sounds like your room is a little overbooked images/icons/smile.gif
Looks like theres gonna be people sleeping in dresser drawers all japaneese hotel style. hehe
So, anyways, it looks like I get my 240 back at 8am!
With only 8 days left, it looks like I gotta do a LOT of work in a really short amount of time..
This is gonna suck.
I have to spraypaint my bumper, install my Diamond HEX 3ways in my doors, install my prokits and blues, and clean, clean, and did I mention clean? images/icons/frown.gif
This is gonna be a looooooooong week.

So am I to assume that the G35 is not being brought Ed????
-Bill
Heh, well, Iv got the totally pimp system in the 240, along with all my mods and stuff,
And my bone stock G.
While the G may be much much much faster and more comfortable, I really see no point in bringing my completely stock car that Iv only had for a month, when I can bring my highly modified 240 that Iv put countless hours of labor into.
The way I see it, the idea behind the meet is to, well, meet everyone, show off what you've done to your car, check out what everyone else's done to their cars, and generally have fun.
You cant exactly show off the work you've done if you have a completely stock car, unless you happen to have designed it. images/icons/wink.gif
Now, if my G had a signifigantly higher towing capacity, It'd be a diffrent story images/icons/smile.gif
