Does anyone know any good solutions or cleaners for the windows? My car is also tinted so if you can consider that too. I have used Sprayaway (a white can with no ammonia) that my tint shop guy told me was really good, but still leaves streaks. I've also used Windex and again still leaves streaks. http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/confused.gif

I'm a detailer and a tinter. He's telling you that because, yes, if you use an ammonia-based window cleaner for a long time, yea it will peal the tint. Using it a few times is not a big deal. But about best cleaner that will not hurt your tint is actually in the grocery store. Get a bottle of white vinegar and put only a cap full in a sprayer and the rest water. Bottled water, if you want to get fancy about it http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/wink.gif and that will not streak unless you just got some crazy stuff on your widows like oil or something. But try that.

Windex is bad for tint films. There are a lot of good products to use. One I really took a liking to is Stoners Invisible Glass. I first used it with paper towels and it didn't impress me. But it works better with microfiber towels.

and if you don't want your car to smell like douche http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif you can buy a bottle of Eagle One's window cleaner. it is non-ammonia based, and therefore tint-safe. i like it. and i have tint. no probs so far.
