Ok, now I don't really like racing on the street because there's just too many innocents around. But lately, I've been thoroughly enjoying wasting tailgaters in [what should be] low speed turns.

Case in point: the other day there's some guy tailgating me (about 3 feet behind my rear bumper at 35mph in a 30mph zone). So as we come up to a 10mph right angle turn I don't slow down and proceed through the turn at 35mph (while staying in my own lane of course). This isn't even pushing it for my car. Halfway through the turn I hear tires squealing and I know their not mine. Looking in the rear view mirror I see the offending car (Ford Taurus I think) sliding off the road. I'm normally a pretty nice guy, but I couldn't hold back the laughter this day. This fellow was so intent on tailgating me that he'd rather slide off the road trying to keep up rather then just slow down.

I now own a 90 240SX Fastback and appreciate its superb handling. However, I drove 98 Ford Taurus before this car. As being a impulsive teen, I drove it like I was driving a rally car. Taurus has pretty good handling for the size of the car. Accurate steering and not much bodyroll. I could turn it pretty hard, but I learned my lesson when I spun off the road (two lane road). I was going 55Mph (speed limit was 35Mph) at a huge ass down hill right curve(about 89 degree) in the rain. I spun 2 and 1/2 circles across the road and ended up being stuck in mud about 100 feet from the apex.
After that I drove like a "Granny", cause it scared hell out of me. However I didn't do much damage to the car except white smoking was coming out from left front brake, and engine bay was filled with mud. http://forums.freshalloy.com/forum/images/icons/frown.gif
Don't underestimate family sedans (taurus, camry, and accord)

Actually, drivers of these three cars are the most dangerous on the road. They floor gas at every single stop light and changes lane every second since no body gives attention to these cars.

After I got 240SX , I got followed by 3 differnt cops a day. :P

Yep. When I drive my wifes GSR I usually encounter some eraser headed punk in a Passat or Jetta thinking he can hang with it in the corners.

I love highway on ramps for just that reason.

Once I'm outa' the corner and at at 50 moh and over 4k RPM they have no chance of catching up.
