The episode of Seinfeld in which the artist paints Kramer's portrait and the older couple buys it....the woman says something about how hideous Kramer is and yet she says she can't take her eyes off of him.
This is how I feel about the element. I think it is beyond hideous. The entire body is ugly, the details are even worse...the plastic fenders are offensive...but I can't stop studying it. I think I feel so sorry for the design that I just want to buy it and nurture it. Really!
Believe it or not, if I don't hear wonderful things about the Mini's quality and reliability by next spring, the Element will move to the top of my shopping list. Really!
